The Government’s Zionist Mistake

Internet Radio

Excerpt from this day’s program:

…In a word, the Zionists would show the gentiles they were wrong about Jews. The Zionists admitted to the failure of the Emancipation. The giving of citizenship to Jews in the 19th century had failed to remove the hostility, and so the solution to the friction was to leave. The Jews would restore their barren, ancient homeland, and become a normal people. Et voila! No more anti-Semitism.

And so yesterday the government of Israel, that is the Security Cabinet approved of administrative detention for far right extremists. The Security Cabinet said it viewed the arson on Friday night at the Dawabsha family home to have been a “terrorist attack in every respect.” And so now administrative detention, legally used on homicidal Arabs who cannot and do not deserve to be tried in a normal civilian court because they are not citizens, is to be used on Jews.

This is a mistake, an Israeli mistake. It comes out of the Zionist fallacy that one can soothe the savage breast of the goyim by agreeing with them that there is a problem in Israel with hate groups and far right extremists. There is not.

Consider the two speeches last Saturday night by the current president and former president, Rivlin and Peres, both hysterical in their painting a wave of extremist hatred in the country that must be stopped. Zero tolerance in the language of Dr. Federica Mogherini, Foreign Policy Czarina for the EU in Brussels.

I would have preferred a much cooler Israeli government response…
